Peak Environmental Monitoring was established by Col Peak in 1996 with the idea to provide specialist services to rural and agriculture industries. Col developed special expertise in technologies associated with environmental monitoring and irrigation management over a period of 20 years working in the field of applied agricultural research for leading Australian ( NSW Dept. Primary Industries ) government research institutions. This was followed by 8 years businesses development, product development and support in industrial electronics, telemetry and data recording systems.

He leads a small team with experience in field installations, project design and maintenance.

Col holds academic qualifications from the University of New England ( Armidale ) majoring in geography, soil studies and hydrology. He holds technical qualifications from Sydney Technical College majoring in biological sciences.

Col is a certified irrigation agronomist (CIAg) specializing in irrigation management and monitoring systems, certified by Irrigation Australia
